Our private guesthouse provides you with your own room and private bathroom that accommodates up to two people. Less than 15 minute walk to the beach which hosts a bar called The Ugly Mug, The Reef Restaurant and Island Breeze Restaurant. Located about 25 mins walk (10 minute drive) Massy supermarkets are in town as well are other Fast Food and local dining areas. Be sure to check out Moule A Chique lighthouse and ask about taking local transport to Soufriere and Castries.

Neighborhood

We are located in a secluded residential area very few houses on our road but we are very close to the Coconut Bay Beach resort. The beach is accessible by foot or public bus. The guest house has a bar that is open once in a while but the best place to visit for a quick bite or drinks is The Reef Restaurant just ask anyone at the guesthouse

The room is as seen in photos and is clean, with comfortable bed, tv (cable), good wifi & aircon. The guesthouse is a 3 min drive away from the airport, and there was some food available onsite during the day (including a delicious breakfast!) in a nice outdoor seating area. So it’s the perfect place to stay before or after a flight. However the standout feature of Hewanorra Gardens is Sherwinn’s amazing team, who are incredibly hospitable & helpful. I initially booked this room just to spend the day before a late-night flight (for which it is super-convenient)… however when my flight failed to take off due to technical issues, and British Airways then failed to provide accommodation for the majority of passengers, leaving us stranded at the airport at 2am (for what would turn out to be the next 48 hours!!), Sherwinn & his team came to my rescue, facilitating my return there in the small hours of morning along with some other passengers. Thank you Seleh, Sherwinn, Wendell & Dawn!

Find us

The most important thing to remember is how to get to the guest house from the UVF (Hewanorra Airport). When you exit you make the first right turn towards Vieux Fort town and the road to Hewanorra Gardens is the third left you will see two signs marked Hewanorra Gardens. If you see the sign for Coconut Bay you have gone too far. Once you come down this dirt road you will come to a green gate which also has a small sign. We are the house before the last on that road. Many areas are accessible by foot, the local buses run pretty frequent from the town. If you need a transfer to the airport or town just let us know and we will accommodate for a small fee.
