The room is as seen in photos and is clean, with comfortable bed, tv (cable), good wifi & aircon. The guesthouse is a 3 min drive away from the airport, and there was some food available onsite during the day (including a delicious breakfast!) in a nice outdoor seating area. So it’s the perfect place to stay before or after a flight. However the standout feature of Hewanorra Gardens is Sherwinn’s amazing team, who are incredibly hospitable & helpful. I initially booked this room just to spend the day before a late-night flight (for which it is super-convenient)… however when my flight failed to take off due to technical issues, and British Airways then failed to provide accommodation for the majority of passengers, leaving us stranded at the airport at 2am (for what would turn out to be the next 48 hours!!), Sherwinn & his team came to my rescue, facilitating my return there in the small hours of morning along with some other passengers. Thank you Seleh, Sherwinn, Wendell & Dawn!

Sherwinn hat es mir ermöglicht, das Zimmer tagsüber während eines 10-Stunden-Aufenthalts zwischen zwei Flügen zu nutzen. Dank ihrer Flexibilität konnte ich einen ganzen Urlaubstag genießen, anstatt mein Gepäck durch die Gegend tragen oder am Flughafen bleiben zu müssen. Sherwinn hat mich vom Flughafen abgeholt und wieder hingefahren und ich bekam sogar trotz Feiertag ein Mittagessen. Danke, Sherwinn!

Nous sommes arrivés avec 3 heures de retard mais Sherwinn nous avait donné des instructions claires pour pouvoir accéder au logement. Le logement n’est pas très récent mais Les lits sont très confortables et l’ensemble est propre. Également situé à 15 minutes à pieds de l’aéroport international. Nous avons sur place pris notre petit déjeuner.

A convenient short stay close to the airport yet remote enough to not feel you are just close to the airport. Very friendly staff and convenient since they can prepare meals for you on side. Spacious and air conditioned rooms. Highly recommended!

This place was great .... I only stayed for a night due to flight issue but I was able to get something to eat and drink on property which was great for me. The place was clean and everyone was so nice.

Hosts’ assistant - highly attentive & responsive.
Check in; super swift & effortless.
(Requested alternate check in & check out time, which was swiftly granted - zero fuss).
Accommodation - clean, tidy, spacious, relaxing.
Hotel-like experience.

Great stay. Highly recommend. Location us nice, tho could be a bit more private as front bar doesn't takes away from privacy. Also toilet had issue flushing somtimes. Nonetheless will be back 👍🏽
